Inspired by Carrie Brownstein’s call to “Just get out there and start a band with your friends…”, The Girl Fridas formed in 2013 to smash the patriarchy by daylight and play music by moonlight! They are set to release their first EP, produced solely by women in the audio industry, in 2015.
